Welcome to one of the most exhilarating and demanding climbs in the Himalayas—Mt. Dhaulagiri, the world’s 7th highest peak, rising 8,167 meters into the sky. Known as the "White Mountain", Dhaulagiri is as beautiful as it is bold—an isolated giant that draws in climbers with its steep faces, exposed ridges, and remote wilderness.
Whether you're an experienced high-altitude climber looking for your next serious challenge or on a quest to conquer all 14 eight-thousanders, Dhaulagiri offers a pure test of endurance, technical skill, and spirit.
This climb is not for beginners. It demands advanced alpine skills, strong physical endurance, and the ability to adapt to remote and high-altitude conditions. Dhaulagiri is ideal for mountaineers who’ve already experienced long expeditions and want to test themselves on a less-crowded 8000-meter giant.
Our Spring 2025 expedition was led by one of the most experienced Sherpa teams in the Himalayas. On May 10, 2025, the 14 Peaks Expedition rope-fixing team successfully reached the summit of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), opening the route for other climbers during a narrow and technical weather window.
Rope-Fixing Team & Summit Heroes:
Lakpa Sherpa (Fixing Leader) – Makalu-09
Taraman Tamang – Makalu-01
Pem Dorchi Sherpa – Makalu-02
Pema Chhumbi Sherpa – Makalu-09
Pasang Nurbu Sherpa – Makalu-03
Furba Kusang Sherpa – Makalu-05
Their efforts ensured a safe and efficient path to the summit, setting a benchmark for precision and teamwork at extreme altitude.
With the route established and the experience of a successful spring behind us, we now invite climbers to join our Autumn 2025 Expedition. If you're mentally and physically prepared to step into isolation and ascend into one of the wildest regions of the Himalayas—this is your mountain.
