ANNAPURNA-I

Mount Annapurna I, the world’s tenth-highest peak at 8,091m, is located in the Himalayas of Nepal. Known as one of the most dangerous 8000m peaks, Annapurna I is notorious for its avalanche risks and technical climbing challenges. First summited in 1950 by Maurice Herzog and Louis Lachenal, it is often considered one of the most difficult 8000m ascents due to its steep faces, unpredictable weather, and high fatality rate. Despite its risks, Annapurna I continues to draw experienced mountaineers, eager to conquer its formidable terrain and witness its breathtaking beauty.
