Lakpa Sherpa (aka "Makalu Lakpa")  is a record-holding high-altitude mountaineer and one of Nepal's most accomplished expedition leaders, with 23 successful ascents of 8,000-meter peaks. Widely known as "Makalu Lakpa," he holds the remarkable record of three summits of Mt. Makalu (8,485m) in just 16 days and has achieved the highest number of successful ascents of Mt. Makalu, a testament to his exceptional strength, endurance, and expertise on one of the world's most demanding mountains.
