What’s included in your package
Your expedition begins and concludes with private airport transfers between Tribhuvan International Airport and your hotel in Kathmandu, ensuring a smooth and comfortable arrival and departure experience.
The package includes 4 nights of accommodation in Kathmandu on a bed-and-breakfast basis in a comfortable double-occupancy room, providing ample time to prepare before the expedition and relax after your return.
All domestic transportation required for the expedition is included. This consists of scheduled flights between Kathmandu and Pokhara, private jeep transfers between Pokhara and Tatopani, and helicopter flights between Tatopani and Annapurna Base Camp for both arrival and departure, allowing for a more efficient and comfortable expedition.
All expedition equipment and supplies are professionally transported from Kathmandu to Annapurna Base Camp using a combination of road transport, helicopters, and porters. The return transportation of all expedition equipment after the climb is also fully managed by our logistics team.
The expedition fee includes the Annapurna I Climbing Permit, Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP), TIMS Card, and all required government documentation necessary for the expedition.
All mandatory environmental fees, including garbage deposits and human waste management in accordance with Nepal Government regulations, are included to support responsible and sustainable mountaineering practices.
Throughout the trek and expedition, you will be provided with three freshly prepared meals each day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our Base Camp kitchen also serves tea, coffee, and nutritious meals prepared by experienced cooks to support your performance at altitude.
A Government-appointed Liaison Officer accompanies the expedition, with all expenses including salary, accommodation, transportation, equipment, and insurance fully covered by 14 Peaks Expedition.
Our experienced Base Camp team includes professional expedition cooks, kitchen staff, and support personnel dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring a comfortable living environment throughout your stay.
Professional porters are provided to transport your personal equipment and expedition gear between the trailhead and Annapurna Base Camp, allowing you to focus on acclimatization and climbing.
All salaries, daily wages, accommodation, meals, clothing, equipment, and comprehensive medical and emergency rescue insurance for Nepalese staff, porters, and expedition personnel are included.
Each participant is permitted up to 60 kg of personal expedition luggage, transported throughout the expedition by the designated logistics team.
Every climber is provided with an individual, high-quality expedition sleeping tent at Base Camp, ensuring comfort and privacy throughout the expedition.
Our fully equipped Base Camp features comfortable sleeping arrangements, a spacious dining tent, kitchen facilities, storage tents, toilet and shower facilities, tables, chairs, foam mattresses, and all essential expedition infrastructure for a comfortable stay.
The dining tent is equipped with heaters for additional comfort, while solar panels provide reliable lighting and charging facilities for cameras, phones, and other electronic devices.
Celebrate the beginning and successful completion of your expedition with welcome and farewell dinners hosted by the 14 Peaks Expedition team at a quality restaurant in Kathmandu.
Each climber is provided with two bottles of supplemental oxygen, along with emergency oxygen reserves stored at Base Camp. High-altitude Sherpas are also equipped with supplemental oxygen to maximize safety during the summit push.
A complete summit oxygen system, including a high-quality oxygen mask and regulator, is provided for every climber and climbing Sherpa.
Satellite phones and walkie-talkie communication systems are available throughout the expedition, ensuring reliable communication between Base Camp and higher camps whenever required.
Each participant is assigned one experienced, government-licensed climbing Sherpa who provides personalized support from Base Camp to the summit and safely back again.
Complete high-camp services are included, featuring quality expedition tents, cooking equipment, fuel, nutritious high-altitude meals, fixed ropes, climbing hardware, and all logistical support required for a safe and efficient ascent of Annapurna I.
What is not covered in the itinerary
International flights to and from Kathmandu are not included. Participants are responsible for arranging their own international travel.
Lunch and dinner during your stay in Kathmandu are not included. Additional hotel nights and meals resulting from early arrival, delayed departure, or personal itinerary changes are also at your own expense.
All participants must obtain comprehensive travel and mountaineering insurance covering high-altitude climbing, emergency helicopter evacuation, medical treatment, rescue operations, trip interruption, cancellation, and repatriation before joining the expedition.
Personal expenses including telephone calls, internet access, laundry services, alcoholic beverages, personal shopping, snacks, personal climbing equipment, and other incidental costs are not included in the expedition fee.
The Nepal entry visa fee is not included and must be obtained upon arrival or in advance in accordance with current Government of Nepal regulations.
A mandatory summit bonus of USD 2,000 is payable to your climbing Sherpa upon a successful ascent. Gratuities for the Base Camp kitchen staff, support crew, and porters are not included and are recommended as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication throughout the expedition.
Any emergency rescue, helicopter evacuation, medical treatment, or related expenses not covered by your personal insurance policy are the responsibility of the participant.
Special permits required for commercial filming, professional photography, documentary production, or drone operations are not included and must be arranged separately.
Any additional government taxes, local municipality fees, or charges introduced after booking, which are not included in the expedition permit, shall be the responsibility of the participant.
Any service, activity, equipment rental, personal request, or expense not specifically listed under the "Cost Includes" section or outlined in the official expedition itinerary shall be considered an additional cost.
