The Chulu West Expedition is one of Nepal's premier climbing adventures, combining the renowned Annapurna Circuit Trek with the ascent of Chulu West (6,419m). The journey passes through picturesque Gurung and Manangi villages, lush forests, alpine meadows, and rugged glacial terrain, allowing climbers to acclimatize gradually while experiencing the diverse landscapes and rich culture of the Annapurna Region. Throughout the expedition, spectacular views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges accompany every step.
The summit climb involves snow slopes, glacial travel, and the use of mountaineering equipment, making it suitable for climbers with good physical fitness and basic alpine climbing experience. From the summit, climbers are rewarded with magnificent panoramic views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and countless Himalayan peaks. Combining classic trekking with an exciting high-altitude ascent, the Chulu West Expedition offers an unforgettable Himalayan mountaineering experience.
